The Healthy Horizons Foundation is dedicated to the health and well-being of children and youth in the north. Through financial grants, we support programs and events focused on physical activity, nutrition, education and wellness.
In the past, grants have funded youth centres, sport activities, exercise facilities and programs, nutritional literacy, land-based learning, disease prevention education programs and academic and non-academic life skill programs.
To be eligible for Healthy Horizons Foundation funding, you must be:
- Aligned to the mission and vision of the Healthy Horizons Foundation, with programming that focuses on making a positive and healthy impact on youth in communities North West serves, and
- A registered charity in Canada or a registered “qualified donee,” as defined in the Income Tax Act (Canada).
If your organization is in need of support and meets the above criteria, we encourage you to submit your application before June 30, 2022. For the grant application and guidelines, please visit the Healthy Horizons Foundation website or click HERE.
