Watch Red Sucker Lake community member George Disbrowe share a brief language lesson in Oji-Cree to promote the Northern Store’s Indigenous Language Program. The program allows people to read store signage in their local language and dialect. Launched in the fall of 2017, the program has provided 121 communities across northern Canada with store signage translations in over 30 different languages or dialects.
