HHF Fall Icon & Smile Cookie campaigns a success

The North West Company's Healthy Horizons Fall Icon Campaign has wrapped up and we are excited to announce that not only have we met our goal of raising $30,000, we exceeded it by $12,000! Thanks to the dedication of our associoates and the genoristy of our customers, Northern/NorthMart stores raised over $42,000 selling paper icons in exchange for donations. 

All of these funds will go directly to the Healthy Horizons Foundation, which is dedicated to improving the health of youth in the communities we serve through financial support and motivation. The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie promotion in September also helped support the foundation.

During the promotion, $5,100 was raised to support healthy living in the north for youth.

“I love having new exciting things for customers to try out and be excited to see them again next year,” says Food Service Manger Melissa Amaral.

The North West Company currently raises and contributes over $1 million annually towards a range of important community based initiatives. The North West Company established the Healthy Horizons Foundation in 2015 with the goal of improving the overall well-being of youth in our communities, collaborating on community based priorities and helping bring local, regional and national organizations to the table.
