A long-standing partnership between the Fort Providence, NT Northern store and the community’s food bank is a win-win situation.

The store donates near-dated food to the food bank, which is run by the Zhahti Koe Friendship Centre. A recent donation totalled $216.47 worth of food!

Northern’s donation helps the food bank continue to be a resource for community members who find themselves short of food each month, while also helping the store reduce food waste.
