When the Blueberry Festival comes to town in Umiujaq, QC, everyone celebrates – North West and its employees included.

The annual festival includes performances from entertainers from many different communities around Umiujaq. Northern Umiujaq helped the event by donating water, paper plates, juice boxes and pop as well as some fishing gear. The store had also supported the Festival by staying open two hours past its regular closing time, to accommodate any late-night shoppers.

The North West team was delighted to be a part of the festival. Store Manager Brandon Wood even had the chance to participate on stage with some break dancers!

“It was a very amazing experience and our team was very happy to do our part to serve the community in a positive way” says Wood.
