Kugluktuk is a hamlet located at the mouth of the Coppermine River in the Kitikmeot Region of Nunavut, Canada. It is the westernmost community in Nunavut, near the Northwest Territories border. With a population of 1491 (as per 2016 census), the traditional language of the area is Inuinnaqtun and is written in the Latin alphabet.

1. Employment: We are one of the largest employers in the community, with Our Northern store in Kugluktuk employing 25 individuals, with 80% being Indigenous employees.* We employ community members and support local business by purchasing services close to home.
2. Capital Investment: Northern has made a $1,610,629 capital investment in the Kugluktuk store over a ten year period.*
3. Annual Economic Impact: Northern is making a positive economic impact in Kugluktuk, with $1,071,385 annual economic impact in the community.
Our Northern store manager David Ho and his team are large community supporters, actively contributing to the local population of Kugluktuk through various youth programs and other fundraising campaigns.
