Thanks to the Health Happy program, a number of healthy alternatives for all sorts of food items can be found on the shelves of Northern and NorthMart stores across the country.

The Health Happy program aims to increase the accessibility of food products with reduced salt, sugar, caffeine, or fat content. Since the introduction of the Health Happy program in Northern and NorthMart stores in September 2018, consumption of healthier food products has increased by nearly 16%.

Customers and staff in Sandy Lake, MB are excited to see Health Happy selections, and North West is pleased to be able to provide customers in the community a healthier lifestyle with smarter food choices.

“I appreciate the program. I’m hoping for healthier living for the community. Thank you guys for running the program,” said Tomm Fiddler, a community member from Sandy Lake.
