Three students from Rossville and Norway House, MB will have a head start in their post-secondary studies thanks to support from Northern stores. 

Northern was pleased to participate in the 2018 grad Ceremony for HBOIERC School in Norway House. Each year the Rossville Northern store awards a bursary to a student who excels in community support/healthy living initiatives and has an acceptable academic record.

This year, all the Northern stores in Rossville and Norway House contributed to the bursary program and awarded $2,500 in funds to three very deserving students, who also happened to be model employees of Northern.

“The Community Leadership and the school were all very excited and pleased that we were able to increase our contribution,” said Rossville Northern store manager Jason Winter. “These awards could not have gone to anyone more deserving than these students.”
